Description:

The APECNet was introduced on the internet in 1997 as a Singapore project for the APEC. The website provides the basic features of a Business Matching System and hyperlinks to relevant websites of member economies for easy and convenient access of information without having to visit websites of each countries separately for the sourcing of relevant links.
Internet technologies was still at the evolving stage during then when the project was launched on the web platform. To date, it is proposed that the system be revamped with more value added services to serve the current online needs of the APEC community.
