DIPOs aim is to assist exporters from developing countries in their efforts to enter the Danish market. DIPO also assist export promotion organisations and embassies. DIPO works under a contract between The Danish International Development Assistance (Danida) and the Danish Chamber of Commerce. The office is integrated in the Chamber of Commerce, but is financed by Danida. DIPO assists exporting companies in the developing countries with contact mediation to Danish importers and with market information about the Danish market. All services are free of charge. Priority is given to the 16 focus countries for Denmarks development assistance, the so-called Programme countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Vietnam, Bolivia, Nicaragua and South Africa. |
